Kelapa Matag

Kelapa Matag ialah kelapa hibrid yang dihasilkan daripada pendebugaan silang antara Kelapa Rendah Malaya dengan Kelapa Tinggi Tagnanan. Ketinggian pokok Kelapa Matag boleh mencapai 15 meter. Daun, bunga dan buahnya berwarna samada hijau, oren atau keemasan bergantung kepada jenis pokok induk Kelapa Rendah Malaya dan Kelapa Tinggi Tagnanan. Purata bilangan buah Kelapa Matag dianggarkan sebanyak 140 biji/pokok/tahun. Potensi hasil dengan densiti penanaman 178 pokok/ha ialah sebanyak 25,000 biji/ha/tahun. What is innovation? Innovation is the act of developing a new product, service, or process based on a new idea. The root word here is novus, which means "new." An innovation is something new. To innovative means to come up with some new thing, not just a new idea. Ideas are wonderful; I like ideas, and I make my living working with them. However, an innovation is the physical form of the idea - a new product, service, or process that you can use to make money. Many people have an "idea" for a product, service, business, movie, or book but then they fail to develop the idea. Developing an idea means making it bigger, richer, clearer, more detailed, and more useful. It mean putting it into a form you can show to other people and, with their help, make something of it into the world. Innovation goes on in every field of human endeavor. Innovators are problem solvers, and innovation is problem solving. Everywhere you look there are problems to be solve - some long-standing, some new. In a market economy, you can do a lot of good and make a lot of money by solving problems.
